HistoryThere are many stories surrounding the famed Warrior of Light, and a particular favorite of the masses is her origin, although these stories vary depending on who you ask.It is said that the heroine was born under the strife and prejudice of Ishgard, hiding horns and scales in fear of the wrath of the Holy See. This tale would go on to say how our heroine labored as a handmaid to one of the great noble houses, owing her grace to the experience.Some others would say that she came from deep under the sea of the East, emerging from seafoam with pearlescent scales and a soulful song, captivating even the feared pirates of the Ruby Sea.Other grand tales tell of the heroine blooming under the exotic dances of Thavnair, or her growing up as a ward of a Sharlayan noble after they found her with her peculiar scales.The truth of the matter is actually rather simple, however. Found as a babe in the North Shroud, our heroine grew up in the quiet little settlement of Hrystmill. There she would blossom to be a fair maiden (the fairest in the village, even, as some would say) and find herself surrounded by admirers, yet she would struggle to retain connections, as an Au Ra with such peculiar scales, she was an outsider in her own hometown. As the elderly couple who took her in loved her as much as they could, she would grow in compassion for others, oft providing village guards with a warm meal and entertainment, however she would still go on to fill her lonely hours singing and dancing under the forest canopy.And she would have been content to continue the rest of her life in such a manner, but fate would have it otherwise as the Calamity struck. Finding herself suddenly an orphan, she could not bear the grief of her memories in the little village and made her way to the great city of Gridania, where she labored under the guidance of a certain Dunesfolk botanist. She would spend years in the Great Loam Growery, yet her eyes would always wander towards the large aetheryte and all the varied folk it brought, ever curious of the world beyond.

LoreIn a time before time immemorial, there was a wish.A concept made by the last Azem during the Final Days, in a fervent hope to be able to save Etheirys even in the future where she knew Venat's Hydaelyn would have sundered them all, was born. Hestia, having left the Convocation and her Seat as Azem, cast out her wish into the aetherial sea, where it eventually reached the material plane of the Source, giving birth to a peculiar Au Ra with crystalline scales.

While I've never actually tried RP, the idea intrigues me and well, here's to hoping something can work out heheI'm the Cha behind Macha and while I work in the Childrens' Book Industry, I do have my own artist page(s) as I love to try out all sorts of crafts, be it painting, sculpting or crocheting.Macha has been my most constant and favorite muse, as I love drawing her and writing out her lore.
